Joan's Garden Weekly Challenge #31

 
     For this weeks challenge at Joan's Garden I used a Cheery Lynn Framed Lattice for the background on blue cardstock. For the vertical greeting I also used the same blue cardstock and Tim Holtz's Vintage Market Alphabet die. The Hummingbird was created by using a Memory Box Die and PK Glitz Glitter. The flower was made using the Heartfelt Creations/Spellbinder Die and a Cheery Lynn Die for the leaves .

A 2nd card for Joan's Garden

A 2nd card for challenge #30 at Joan's Garden,  I used all white card stock.  I embossed the front of  the card with an embossing folder and a scoring board.  I used Memory Box dies for the window, tree and deer, and a McGill for the fern over the window. I added ribbon to look like wainscotting and I added Diamond Stickles to the tree and deer.

Challenge at Joan's Garden #30

  This card is for Joan's Garden challenge, it needed to be an all white Christmas card using an image from nature and stickles.  I used all white card stock and a holographic paper for the bacground.  I used a Sellbinder die to cut the oval opening and Memory Box dies for the tree, deer and star. I added Diamond Stickles to the tree, deer, star and edges of the openings.

Joan's Garden Challenge #26

I  made this card for Joan's Garden.  I used yellow, green and white cardstock.  For dies I used Cheery Lynn's Polynesian Sails, Lace Corner Deco B, Pair of ferns and a Butterfly.  I glittered the back of the butterfly and added rhinestones.
  • Make a butterfly card
  • Use green and yellow
  • Use something from nature (for instance a fern)
  • Have at least 3 layers

Joan's Garden Challenge #25


The challenge this week at Joan's Garden is to create a card: using 4 layers, use ivory and green,use only a stamped inage and a sentinent.  The stamp is from Past Times and is stamped with VersaMagic gingerbread and colored with Copic Markers,  The paper is Stampin' Up Very Vanilla and Coordinations Meadow.

I made this card for Joan's garden challenge.  I used Cherry Lynn's Polynesian Sails die and Marianne's Rose Basket die. The paper and red, white and blue cardstock and the banner/tag is a Spellbinder Banner die using Stampin' Up's striped paper.

Joan's Garden Challenge #21

  This week at Joan's Garden the challenge is to use pink and white, use an embossing folder, use a die for an opening on the front of the card, and leaves as an accent.
  I used Sizzix Loving Thoughts embossing folder, and oval die, Cheery Lynn's Pair of Ferns and Fanciful Flourish.  Thwe flower was made using Tim Holtz's tattered flower die.

I made this card using Spellbinder/Hearfelt Posy Patch dies, a Punch Bunch small sun, Sizzix leaves and embossing folder,Cheery Lynn's olive branches and small exotic butterfly die, Stickles, and Martha Stewart border punch.

Joan's Challenge No. 5

       I made this card using the Cheery Lynn lattice die, the Memory Box perched reed bird, Sizzix leaves and a Punch Bunch daisy.  I colored the bird using Copic markers and added Stickles to the flower centers.  The blue background is a text weight mettalic paper.
